My name is Alicia Harding
I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. My coaching practice, BLOOM, focuses on all aspects of longevity: increasing one's health span while staving off the chronic diseases that too commonly accompany aging so that we can grow older able-bodied and blooming with zest and vitality.

About Me.
Background. While my personal health journey began with a focus on optimizing energy and athletic performance, it evolved into a keen interest in the science of aging and the body of research that supports our ability to significantly delay, and even halt, chronic and debilitating diseases.
As a former dancer, I learned from an early age that my health was paramount to my success and that my physiological performance was significantly impacted by what I ate, how I slept, moved or handled stress. Later, as I transitioned from dancing to a career in the medical industry, I witnessed first-hand the prevalence of chronic disease, particularly as we age. I began studying and practicing functional medicine and nutrition to fortify my mind and body. As I learned and implemented new lifestyle behavioral changes, I became increasingly passionate about sharing with others the joys of healthy living.
Philosophy. My philosophy stems from the science of how our environment affects our physical, mental and emotional being, that our genetics and the “diseases of aging” do not have to become our destiny and an understanding of how we choose to eat, sleep, move, socialize, and restore have a profound impact on all aspects of health, especially as we age.
Why work with a longevity health coach? There is no lack of health and anti-aging information available to us at our fingertips. In addition to uncovering your deeper motivations to live a longer, happier, and healthier life, we will partner to co-create a sleep, fitness, nutrition and rejuvenation plan that resonates with you. Your individualized plan will be based on the latest scientific research and will be applied in a manner that encourages sustainability and accountability.
Career and Education. Prior to developing my coaching practice, I worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries while raising my two children in West Linn, Oregon. I am a graduate of the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and have a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah.
